Soo… I know, I know, I shop every month, every week, every day but I patiently wait for Black Friday to snatch some of my favorite designer pieces at an amazing price, do not believe that everything we bloggers wear is gifted, fashion is my life and my full time job. I buy pieces constantly to keep my wardrobe fresh and interesting. I’m always hunting for a good sale and there is no better sale than Black Friday, especially online. A trick I have and would like to share with you guys: Add a bunch of these items to your wishlist, heart them, and once the Black Friday kicks in check which ones went on sale and then add them to the cart right away. As always I end up removing half because otherwise I won’t be able to pay rent or eat. So, here’s a few pieces I recommend you to keep an eye on… Bottega Veneta BV tire leather Chelsea boots These guys are everywhere right now for a reason, they’re freaking cool. You …

#DGLovesAruba

Dolce&Gabbana presents a capsule collection inspired by the colorful and charming Aruba, ignited by the island’s colors of summer and warm temperatures that invite us to dress more relaxed without losing elegance. This limited collection of accessories in rich floral prints highlights atmospheres of the most glamorous coastal cities around the world: Miami to Cannes… Saint Tropez and the splendid beaches of Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean… the energizing Spanish coast–Puerto Banús… the romanticism of Capri and Porto Cervo. With the characteristic DNA of Dolce&Gabbana accessories–ranging from mini bags, phone cases, beach bags and maxi silk scarves–these pieces are part of making summer 2015 a summer to remember. I love how you can see and read all the locations on the map, makes me smile seeing some of my favorite places in Aruba being highlighted, seeing the flamingos that I always portray on my pictures. I think it was a grand gesture of Dolce&Gabbana to dedicate this capsule collection to Aruba, it warms your heart… specially if you are in love with this island like I …

Beach Buddies

A towel is a beach essential, you can use it for drying off after enjoying yourself in the water, or t lie on on the sand. Beach Towels can be useful while changing clothes at the beach, and for wiping sand from your body when you are ready to go back to the hotel or home. To do all that you need a big, durable and reliable towel. Meet Vilebrequin‘s Sieste Towel, it’s a big, soft and absorbent. Those three basic attributes are the most important in a beach towel, whereas the Sieste is much more than that; Sieste comes with a pocket where you can place an inflatable cushion that comes with the towel, you can take a nice siesta and relax comfortably anywhere you go. You can also fold the towel and place it inside this pocket, close it and carry the towel easily inside your beach bag, it is so practical and saves you a lot of space, you alsocan use it as a pillow, I mean, this towel is so functional, it’s the best beach towel you can buy, you’ll thank me for this suggestion, …

For the Caribbean Queens

At the beach, time is different. Time doesn’t move hour to hour but mood to moment. We live by the moment, plan by the tides and follow the sun. Vilebrequin women’s is a colorful and stylish collection of bikinis, board shorts, resort wear and accessories with Vilebrequin’s modern luxury aesthetic. What I found interesting and practical is that they sell the pieces separately, so you can choose a top from a size and then the bottom in the size that fits you best. How cool is that? Fabiola is wearing in the picture the Gingham seersucker top and the Gingham seersuck bottom. it’s a beautiful and very feminine bikini that is also comfortable and classic looking, to me it kinda has this pin-up kind of look that makes it so cool and timeless. Vilebrequin has many beautiful, fun and glamorous options for women, click here to browse their entire online catalogue and be the Caribbean Queen wherever you go!

The Perfect Blue Shirt

Resort wear is a year-round fashion season, and Vilebrequin has the perfect options in their ready-to-wear collections. From Saint Tropez to Aruba, Martinique and Thailand, to the Costa Brava in Spain, St. Barths and all the Caribbean Islands, resort wear popularity is growing quickly. It’s a style that signifies luxury, relaxation, and appreciation of nature, travel and holidays. I see this year-round fashion daily in the Caribbean from tourists all around the world. Americans, Europeans, South Americans, etc., once it starts getting cold on their side of the world they all go on vacay looking for the warmth of the Caribbean. From Swim-shorts, polos and linen shirts, to light tops and dresses for women, cruise wear is exclusive in its function and construction design. I chose from Vilebrequin’s new collection two beautiful shirts, a classic terry cotton polo in royal blue and a linen short sleeved shirt in blue. The terry is a classic, with its unique fabric texture, so comfortable and dressy at the same time, perfect to go to the beach or grab cocktails at night. What I like the most about this polo shirt is how fresh it is during the …

Bayahibe & Trasa

So, I was lucky enough to be followed by the people of Bayahibe on tumblr. I didn’t know who they were but now I’m really interested. They have beautiful prints, specially this butterfly one that I’m obsessing over. Bayahibe is a beach located in the Dominican Republic where they got their inspiration for developing this brand. The price range is about USD $106. Now, browsing on tumblr I’ve found this australian brand named Trasa, they have their new collection out ( it is summer down under ) and I fell for this pair of trunks, they have it in different colors but this coral one is really cool. They look a bit 90s which is good. They give me a california vibe in the 90s. what do you think? Make sure you check both brands.
