It’s no secret that I love watching TV, it’s literally my favorite thing to do at home–especially during the holidays. I like to spend as much time as I can at home since I travel so much throughout the year. I love enjoying my house and just kick back and relax with a classic movie or a new show to binge. During this time of the year, there’s nothing like watching all the holiday classics that I grew up loving. Those feel-good movies, the ones I used to watch with my family at home when I was little… it’s just a comfortable feeling to do that and that’s the reason I have a big couch in my living room and an even bigger TV to feel at home. That’s my holiday tradition, after eating a homecooked meal. I’ve been seeing brands I love joining the western-style bandwagon– for example, Versace and I can’t help but wonder: Do I wanna be a cowboy? I remember years ago doing the double-denim look, I liked it and I rocked it a couple of times while traveling. Back then I used to live in the Caribbean and I was wearing speedos every day. I can’t be a cowboy, I love my hair too much to cover it with a hat but here’s my approach to an urban cowboy in Soho, New York. Change is a part of life. It’s inevitable. the trees don’t apologize when they change, so why should I? Finally, the temperature is dropping and I can layer. Fall in New York is my favorite season, I never knew how much I loved cold weather until I learned how to dress for it. I have to be honest, it took me a while. I blame it on the fact that I was born and raised in the Caribbean. Here’s my first official Fall look. I hope you love it as much as I do. The stars of this look are the mocassins, made of soft ostrich leather. They’re a modern version of the classic moccasin with thick grip tread rubber sole. Decorated with metal Gancini, this is the ideal style to wear with casual outfits both in and out of town.

I had the opportunity to join the VII Punta Mita Gourmet & Golf Classic last month through the St Regis Punta Mita, in the Pacific coast of Mexico. I have a soft spot for Mexico, specifically their cuisine, which is possibly my favorite. So when I received the invitation to this event I wanted to cry of happiness. My age became sort of a sensitive topic for me once I had a conversation with my friend Gray over a few drinks by the Renaissance pool in Aruba back in 2013. I remember we were discussing my last birthday picture, which I was holding two balloons shaped in the digits of my then current age. He advised that if  I wanted to work in show business or in any related fields, like blogging and modeling, I should always keep my age sort of a mystery. That’s when I started to worry about aging and trying to think of ways and routines I can do that will keep myself looking young. I’ve always been a beach bum and while doing just that I never applied facial creams, sunscreen or anything of that nature. I always said that my skin was already cured after many years under the Caribbean sun. However, after having that conversation with Gray things changed, and fast. September’s Scents

This month’s selection of fragrances are special to me since I used them during a special time for me, my birthday month. I am bringing you two options: a new discovery and an updated version of a classic I’ve been using for a while. The Dunhill Icon Absolute is first—which is an absolute, pun-intended, favorite the second I smelled it. The scent is woody and super masculine, which is exactly how I like all of my perfumes. Also, the fact that Dunhill is not that well-known among the youngsters so it does have this very cool and exclusive vibe to it— which is another reason why I really like it. It can be difficult to describe a perfume or a specific scent, but the Icon is pretty easy to nail down. It has notes of leather and tobacco, jasmine and rose and smells like heaven. It mixes well with your own natural scent too. Cancun is definitely a place to love. I recently got back from a four-day escapade with The Ritz-Carlton Cancun. The city is way bigger than I imagined and has a whole lot to offer besides from the beautiful turquoise waters and the friendly and polite people of the city. This isn’t my first time to Mexico, however, it is my first time visiting la Riviera Maya, and it was the perfect way to top off the summer season. Every experience that The Ritz-Carlton offers is always the best of the best: From the food and location to the staff and entertainment. On my first night at the hotel, I had the chance to experience the Chef’s Table with Chef Mara Barba, which I highly recommend if you want an intimate dining experience. The menu for the night was Mexican cuisine with a local twist. We were treated to a 6-course meal, which was prepared inches away from us, and in between bites we sipped on local Mexican wines. So… I’ve been browsing for new perfumes and I visited Penha to try and purchase a few for the upcoming season.  Here the top 3 that caught my attention and nose. Dylan blue by Versace. Creating Memories at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba

I recently had the opportunity to have a staycation at The Ritz-Carlton here in Aruba. The four-day stay was one of the most relaxing and fun breaks I’ve had in a while. The Ritz-Carlton Aruba is located on Palm Beach in Aruba, which is such a beautiful place to be on the Island. The hotel features two beautiful swimming pools with Cabanas, One for adults and the other for families with children. We all love kids, but sometimes we just want a little peace and quiet.  The rooms in the hotel are super spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable with wonderful views of the Caribbean sea. The hotel has many restaurants such as BLT Steak & Solanio with tasty menus. Overall it’s a dream hotel for obvious reasons, but what makes The Ritz-Carlton Aruba stand out from the rest is the staff. From the bell-boys to the waitress at the Cabana by the pool, the staff is the most attentive, considerate and kind workforce I have ever came across in Aruba. During my recent trip to the Big Apple, I test drove the Rimini slip-on sneaker from Bruno Magli’s latest collection.  This summer staple is made up of a foil weave calf leather upper and a rubber cup outsole— so no need to worry about comfort or style since both are present.  Bruno Magli is a synonym of elegant design and impeccable craftsmanship, they’re made in Italy after all.
