PAUL HEWITT AND I

New York, Puerto Rico, Cancun, Aruba, Bermuda… These are just a few of my favorite places I visited this summer. For my season’s adventure, I brought a few of my favorite Paul Hewitt Accessories, like Black sea watch from the Grand Atlantic line, and the Ancuff bracelet. Paul Hewitt timepieces are classic and minimal, and can go with pretty much any outfit. I was introduced to the brand a couple of years ago and became a fan instantly. My first piece from Paul Hewitt was the anchor bracelet, and I still wear it till today (and the compliments keep on coming too). Here is a recap of my favorite images ft. the Paul Hewitt accessories. To shop these accessories, click on the image and you will be redirected to learn more and shop! GET ANCHORED!

September’s Scents

This month’s selection of fragrances are special to me since I used them during a special time for me, my birthday month. I am bringing you two options: a new discovery and an updated version of a classic I’ve been using for a while. The Dunhill Icon Absolute is first—which is an absolute, pun-intended, favorite the second I smelled it. The scent is woody and super masculine, which is exactly how I like all of my perfumes. Also, the fact that Dunhill is not that well-known among the youngsters so it does have this very cool and exclusive vibe to it— which is another reason why I really like it. It can be difficult to describe a perfume or a specific scent, but the Icon is pretty easy to nail down. It has notes of leather and tobacco, jasmine and rose and smells like heaven. It mixes well with your own natural scent too. I definitely encourage you to try it the next time you visit the Penha store.   Second scent, the Mercedes Benz Man, which …

The Ritz-Carlton Cancun

Cancun is definitely a place to love. I recently got back from a four-day escapade with The Ritz-Carlton Cancun. The city is way bigger than I imagined and has a whole lot to offer besides from the beautiful turquoise waters and the friendly and polite people of the city. This isn’t my first time to Mexico, however, it is my first time visiting la Riviera Maya, and it was the perfect way to top off the summer season. Every experience that The Ritz-Carlton offers is always the best of the best: From the food and location to the staff and entertainment. On my first night at the hotel, I had the chance to experience the Chef’s Table with Chef Mara Barba, which I highly recommend if you want an intimate dining experience. The menu for the night was Mexican cuisine with a local twist. We were treated to a 6-course meal, which was prepared inches away from us, and in between bites we sipped on local Mexican wines. As she cooks she explains the story …

What’s that perfume that you wear?

So… I’ve been browsing for new perfumes and I visited Penha to try and purchase a few for the upcoming season.  Here the top 3 that caught my attention and nose. Dylan blue by Versace. Here’s to hoping this whole outfit ends up on the floor wearing the new fragrance Dylan Blue from Versace. The scent has a fresh Citrus vibe that is both masculine and versatile, and most importantly it blends with your natural scent and isn’t obnoxious by any means. If you want a cologne that will make a statement- Dylan Blue is for you. L’Envol Eau de Toilette by Cartier Last year I had an opportunity to try and wear L’Envol by Cartier, an elegant and woody cologne that is sweet, masculine, nocturnal and proper for the dapper gentleman. L’Envol Eau de Toillete is a little fresher and vibrant, however, still maintains a few characteristics of the original. This is a fragrance you don’t wear to the office, but an important cocktail reception or gala, or even a special date. The cologne …

Creating Memories at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba

I recently had the opportunity to have a staycation at The Ritz-Carlton here in Aruba. The four-day stay was one of the most relaxing and fun breaks I’ve had in a while. The Ritz-Carlton Aruba is located on Palm Beach in Aruba, which is such a beautiful place to be on the Island. The hotel features two beautiful swimming pools with Cabanas, One for adults and the other for families with children. We all love kids, but sometimes we just want a little peace and quiet.  The rooms in the hotel are super spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable with wonderful views of the Caribbean sea. The hotel has many restaurants such as BLT Steak & Solanio with tasty menus. Overall it’s a dream hotel for obvious reasons, but what makes The Ritz-Carlton Aruba stand out from the rest is the staff. From the bell-boys to the waitress at the Cabana by the pool, the staff is the most attentive, considerate and kind workforce I have ever came across in Aruba. You truly feel like a king while staying at The Ritz-Carlton …

RIMINI SLIP ONS | BRUNO MAGLI

New York City is always a good Idea. There’s no place like it, especially during the spring season. During my recent trip to the Big Apple, I test drove the Rimini slip-on sneaker from Bruno Magli’s latest collection.  This summer staple is made up of a foil weave calf leather upper and a rubber cup outsole— so no need to worry about comfort or style since both are present.  Bruno Magli is a synonym of elegant design and impeccable craftsmanship, they’re made in Italy after all. The woven leather sneakers are super comfortable and are the right choice, especially if you’re planning on walking all over downtown, across the Brooklyn Bridge, and around Dumbo too.  They’re super versatile too– and can transition beautifully from a  city look to a resort ensemble while on vacation— plus they can be paired with denim, bermuda shorts, or chinos.  Summer style can be a bit bland when wearing solid linen tops and bermuda shorts on the daily. To spice up your look I would throw on an accessory that has texture, like these guys, and would …
