Creating Memories at The Ritz-Carlton Aruba

I recently had the opportunity to have a staycation at The Ritz-Carlton here in Aruba. The four-day stay was one of the most relaxing and fun breaks I’ve had in a while. The Ritz-Carlton Aruba is located on Palm Beach in Aruba, which is such a beautiful place to be on the Island. The hotel features two beautiful swimming pools with Cabanas, One for adults and the other for families with children. We all love kids, but sometimes we just want a little peace and quiet.  The rooms in the hotel are super spacious, nicely decorated and comfortable with wonderful views of the Caribbean sea. The hotel has many restaurants such as BLT Steak & Solanio with tasty menus. Overall it’s a dream hotel for obvious reasons, but what makes The Ritz-Carlton Aruba stand out from the rest is the staff. From the bell-boys to the waitress at the Cabana by the pool, the staff is the most attentive, considerate and kind workforce I have ever came across in Aruba. You truly feel like a king while staying at The Ritz-Carlton …

MIAMI

So… I went to Miami for the #rd Annual Veuve Clicquot Carnival, it was my first time assisting to this event and for sure it won’t be the last one, I had so much fun, I am sure you already know that if you were following my trip on Instagram and insta-stories. I wanted to share with you guys the outfits I wore during my days in Miami, from the iconic Louis Vuitton’s Pink Giraffes polo shirt to the many swim shorts I took to Miami Beach.  If you love any of the pieces I’m wearing just click on the image for more details.

WHAT TO DO IN ARUBA

Soo… Actually, people message me all the time asking what to do and where to go while they’re visiting Aruba, I always try to reply via private message or I comment back but I thought it would be nice to have a blog post dedicated to the beautiful Island of Aruba so I can share with you where I go and what I do, but these are 100% my favorite places, restaurants I go once in a while, the beaches I prefer, the places where I take my friends to take pics and where I shop… When is it a good time to visit? Any day, we are lucky to have good weather all year long. It’s always sunny, it’s hot but very windy so it balances things out, so book your trip any month of the year… but where are you staying? That’s the important question. The Hotels Aruba has many hotels, apartments, and villas. I have stayed at the Renaissance Aruba Resort and Casino many times, you all know that by now,  but, …

NEMETH MEETS O’GORMAN | LV

While Visiting Mexico City I had the chance to go to Ciudad Universitaria, I was so impressed with all the murals, specially the one in the the main library in the Campus of the National Autonomous University of Mexico. It is in a group of landmark buildings that make the Campus a World Heritage site which was done by Juan O’Gorman. My outfit for the occasion was well thought, dark blue trousers and this gorgeous jumper from the Nemeth collection. Let’s call it an artistic ensemble. It is amazing how you can feel this energy when you are visiting a university. It makes you feel younger and also brings back memories from those college years. ALLIANCE SUNGLASSES These fashionable, foldable sunglasses feature a square shape and the Maison’s iconic Damier canvas on the temples. The black version is fitted with polarized lenses and the blue version is fitted with mirror lenses. These foldable sunglasses feature Louis Vuitton’s exclusive innovative hinge system, enabling them to be carried perfectly flat. LV INITIALS REVERSIBLE A miniature version of the LV Initials Belt, the LV Initials 14MM …

FALL IN MEXICO CITY | LOUIS VUITTON PART ONE

Turtleneck, trousers, shoes and coat by Louis Vuitton. Location, Colonia Condesa, Mexico City. Photo-shoot for Vogue Magazine. __________________________________________________________________ So… This is actually one of five looks I will be showing you this week, I encourage you thou to go get the new edition of Vogue Hombre Otoño/Invierno 2015. The Magazine is in newsstands now.  Get a copy, I still don’t have mine…can you believe it? Anyways, I am sure I will get it asap. I am being featured in a travel spread wearing Louis Vuitton in Mexico City. I visit a few of my favorite places and I had the chance to visit new ones. I am in love with Mexico, specially with La Condesa, these pictures were taken in the roof top area of Hotel Condesa DF, where I was staying. From this outfit I am particularly in love with the turtleneck, since I was little I have always liked them. I had, i think, three or four turtleneck when I was little but mostly for traveling.  All pieces are from the new Louis Vuitton fall/winter …

COMPLETE A CASUAL LOOK | LV

Turtleneck sweater, Monogram Stole Square Rope and Rain Coat by Louis Vuitton, burgundy trousers by Zara. Location: Mercado Roma, Mexico City _________________________________________________________________ I had the chance to visit Mercado Roma not long ago while visiting Mexico City, it became a new favorite place to repeat next time I’m there. It’s a gourmet Market where you can eat autenthic and delicious Mexican food, you can also shop for organic products, teas, liquor, artisanal chocolate, artisanal ice cream, artisanal beer… souvenirs, books. Everything. It’s a place to visit. I had lunch there, had the most tasty burrito I’ve had in my life, made on the spot in front of your eyes. It was delicious. So.. Mexico City can get cold, and that’s another thing I love about it, temperatures don’t drop that much but enough for you to wear a nice jacket or a coat, you can wear a turtleneck sweater and add a stole if you want. It is fun for me since I can’t layer in Aruba. I love wearing fall and winter clothes when I travel. Now, the key piece of this …

A TASTE OF THE CARNIVAL BREEZE

So, I had the chance to spend a few hours on board of the massive Carnival Breeze. Obviously a few hours is not enough to enjoy the ship. You need a week, but here are my impressions and a few pictures I took. Let’s start by saying that you need a week, yes, you need a week for sure to enjoy this ship. I spent 3 hours on the lido deck having fun, because that’s what it is all about. I actually felt like a kid running up and down the amazing Lido Deck, the water slides took half my time. They were so much fun. Practically everybody left to go explore the beautiful island of Aruba, which left me with the chance to enjoy the ship by myself. It’s the perfect place to go on vacation with your kids or a group of friends. The deck has 2 pools and countless spots to relax and chairs sunbath. I think I counted 4 or 6 jacuzzis. There’s an adult area to get away from the …

ARUBA | GARDEN FRESH

So, I’ve started my diet again. Training hard at the gym and getting ready not only for carnival season but for every season. Looking and feeling good should always be a priority in your life. Garden Fresh is the best option when it comes to eating fit and fresh in Aruba, also the most hip and fashionable healthy restaurant, which is always a plus. They serve a wide range of smoothies and juices. The morning sunshine smoothie to me is one of the best, my favorite I have to say. There’s a wide variety of healthy food, there’s wraps and paninis, you have salads as well. Create your own salad is the best option for me, especially at night… now that I am on a zero carb diet I can just go there, pick my favorite protein (usually chicken) and then ask for the veggies I like. It’s a life saver to be honest and they don’t sell anything that could be a temptation… like coca cola, you know? Things that are not supposed to …

This limited collection of accessories in rich floral prints highlights atmospheres of the most glamorous coastal cities around the world: Miami to Cannes… Saint Tropez and the splendid beaches of Cancun in the Mexican Caribbean… the energizing Spanish coast–Puerto Banús… the romanticism of Capri and Porto Cervo. With the characteristic DNA of Dolce&Gabbana accessories–ranging from mini bags, phone cases, beach bags and maxi silk scarves–these pieces are part of making summer 2015 a summer to remember. I love how you can see and read all the locations on the map, makes me smile seeing some of my favorite places in Aruba being highlighted, seeing the flamingos that I always portray on my pictures. I think it was a grand gesture of Dolce&Gabbana to dedicate this capsule collection to Aruba, it warms your heart… specially if you are in love with this island like I …
