If you come to Barbados, you will feel the omnipresence of Rihanna everywhere, she might not be there physically, but her spirit is all around or at least her song is playing every other song at every beach bar. It’s pure Rihanna bliss. Barbados is a real tropical island and bigger than I was expecting. I’m used to visiting Aruba and St. Barths, very petit island comparing to Barbados– charming but small. Barbados feels like a big rock, a country– I was lucky to have stayed 8 days on the island so I was really able to get to know the Island. I had the chance to drive around and discover beautiful corners like Bottom Bay, which I visited twice, one on my own and the second time I had to bring Moti so we could take pictures together. Cancun is definitely a place to love. I recently got back from a four-day escapade with The Ritz-Carlton Cancun. The city is way bigger than I imagined and has a whole lot to offer besides from the beautiful turquoise waters and the friendly and polite people of the city. This isn’t my first time to Mexico, however, it is my first time visiting la Riviera Maya, and it was the perfect way to top off the summer season. Every experience that The Ritz-Carlton offers is always the best of the best: From the food and location to the staff and entertainment. On my first night at the hotel, I had the chance to experience the Chef’s Table with Chef Mara Barba, which I highly recommend if you want an intimate dining experience. The menu for the night was Mexican cuisine with a local twist. We were treated to a 6-course meal, which was prepared inches away from us, and in between bites we sipped on local Mexican wines. So… I went to Miami for the #rd Annual Veuve Clicquot Carnival, it was my first time assisting to this event and for sure it won’t be the last one, I had so much fun, I am sure you already know that if you were following my trip on Instagram and insta-stories. It is hard to tell you which one is my favorite piece from the collection but they are all unique and special. The mesh tops, the jumpsuits, the print on the shorts. Bjorn Borg swimwear, “designed to make you feel active and attractive”, this is how the iconic brand describes their swimwear and they’re right. The multicolor piece I’m wearing is called Dryland, these vibrant shorts really pops and that’s how I like my swimwear, to really attract attention. They’re 5 inches, so just above the new to get the legs really tanned. The print is really interesting, it is a colored desert that at first, to me, it looked like butterfly wings: I wore it this past weekend to the beach, they’re quick dryers which is one of the most important features on a great pair of swim shorts. They have a classic cut with an elastic waistband and cord to keep them in place. The design is on point, they do not look puffy at al which is another important feature. I once blogged about them and called these shorts “the most elegant swimwear” and I still stand by that affirmation. Hello everyone! These are a few of my must have pieces this summer. Lets start with the shorts… or better yet, the towel… It’s Gray Malin’s first towel and like everything he does it’s just pure fun luxury and the price is not crazy. better hurry get yours since it’s almost sold out. I blogged about it a few days before but this piece is a MUST-HAVE, not only is big, and soft and absorbent BUT it photographs beautifully, and if you are a picture freak like me… YOU NEED IT! I have to say when I got this pair of Pink Bonds by Bluemint I was really impressed with the cut and the tailored fit. It is for sure their more refined and stylish short yet. The sophisticated look, the modern cut for those who don’t like the old classic elastic waistband and the price are the three things that stand out for me as swimwear collector. In short: They look great, the fit is flattering, not baggy or puffy, the finishing is impeccable, they’re short but not not crazy short, and the quality of their products is always the best, not only the fabric but the zippers and the lining.
