If you come to Barbados, you will feel the omnipresence of Rihanna everywhere, she might not be there physically, but her spirit is all around or at least her song is playing every other song at every beach bar. It’s pure Rihanna bliss. Barbados is a real tropical island and bigger than I was expecting. I’m used to visiting Aruba and St. Barths, very petit island comparing to Barbados– charming but small. Barbados feels like a big rock, a country– I was lucky to have stayed 8 days on the island so I was really able to get to know the Island. I had the chance to drive around and discover beautiful corners like Bottom Bay, which I visited twice, one on my own and the second time I had to bring Moti so we could take pictures together. For the second part of my trip I was (super lucky) and excited to stay at Sandals, what made Barbados feel like a home away from home was the people I met there, especially the staff at Sandals Royale Resort. Here I am sporting my new favorite pair of swim briefs, yes, I know, I call speedos all my briefs, but is the force of habit. Burgundy is a fall color, in my opinion, if you wanna keep a little seasonal tone in your swimwear also this is the perfect piece. I always wear shorts to the beach and brief under, I like to sunbath in speedos, tan lines are very sexy in my opinion. Both pieces are from the newest collection and they’re available online .     I remember when I was on the cover of Express Magazine back in December of 2014. In the interview I spoke about one of my plans for the future of possibly starting my own swimwear line. It wasn’t anything written in stone, but was just an idea I had. Finally, after a few months I decided to start the project, the first piece of the collection is a flesh colored swim brief . I drew inspiration from the idea of playing with sand colors and the playfulness and sexiness of the illusion of being “au naturel”, which is the name of this brief. The flesh colored items in clothing and shoes have been present in fashion in the last seasons but never in swimwear for obvious reasons.  Those reasons were the motivation that inspired me to take this direction. So… browsing thru tumblr I stumbled upon this lip print speedo. It was to me the coolest print I’ve seen in a while. Luckily the picture had the name of the brand, it was Quid and Buck, I’ve never heard of them until that day. I looked for them on IG and found them and the rest is history… Now They’re in Aruba with me and I love them. So, I was lucky enough to be the first man blogging about the new MOBO swimwear line for men. Dear Friend Keren brought me a pair of their zungas and they are colorful, confortable, the fit is perfect, the lining is really good inside. Teh classic floral print is always a perfect choice fo rthe beahc,a dds that pop of color against the white sand or the turquoise waters. You need to check them out as soon as tehy’re released this summer. Mobo swimweasr is a Must Have. Now, the tank top here is everything, it is Algae Miami, new brand, beautiful brand, I got a few pieces from them but THIS TANK is just too much, and the color is on point.
